Hatta as an ideal day journey getaway. Hatta is a town in the United Arab Emirates located in the foothills of the Hajar Mountains. It is an exclave of Dubai and is located about an hour from Dubai city. It is separated from the main part of the emirate by territory belonging to Sharjah (which is part of the UAE), and Oman.

How to reach Hatta?
No matter in what vehicle you choose to drive to Hatta Mountain, be it a Land Cruiser or a Hummer, your weekend tour to Hatta will only take you about 1 hour (105km from Dubai International Airport) from Dubai city. Revel in a scenic drive through the rugged terrains of Oman, before reaching Hatta village. It is highly advisable that you carry your passport with you while crossing checkpoints.

Hatta Hill Park is a nice park that exists on Hatta hill. Entry is free and it is open throughout the year. It has well-maintained trees and gardens. The park has a children’s play area and also a swimming pool. Most of the people are coming to the park for BBQ activities. There are no restaurants available near the park. The park location is good which is in the heart of the town.
